Andinet International College (AIC) successfully conducted its highly anticipated 6th Annual Research Conference on the theme of “Quality Education for Life Success” on June 27, 2024.
The Conference kicked off with an introduction by Mr. Abreham Menna, Head of Research and Community Service, followed by warm welcome and inspiring remarks by Dr. Demewoz Admasu, Executive Vice President, emphasizing the importance of research and innovation in education and research in AIC culture.
We were honored to have Eng. Saba Ataro, CEO of Andinet Education and Training (AET) PLC, who delivered the opening speech. She shared her remarkable life experiences and the journey of her success, providing motivation and inspiration to all attendees. Her international and national insights into leadership and perseverance were truly enlightening.
The keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Worku Negash, President of AIC and Co-founder of AET PLC. Dr. Worku shared his personal journey in the USA and Ethiopia and success story, highlighting the critical role of research in academic and professional achievement. His speech resonated deeply with the audience, encouraging everyone to pursue excellence in research endeavors.
A highlight of the Conference was the engaging panel discussion. Esteemed panelist, Mr. Bekalu Yayeh from the Addis Ababa Education and Training Quality Regulatory Authority, provided valuable insights into the role of quality TVET programs in ensuring the success of graduates. His comprehensive overview of the regulatory landscape and its impact on education quality was both informative and thought-provoking.
Prof. Solomon Negash from Kennesaw State University, USA, delivered a compelling speech on the role of IT in scientific knowledge production and dissemination. He also discussed the internationalization of private higher education in today’s competitive landscape. Prof. Solomon’s experiences and best practices in teaching, learning, and research publication provided valuable lessons to all attendees.
The Conference featured a series of research presentations on a diverse range of critical topics byDr. Abdreheman Seid, Mr. Ashebir Tekle, Mr. Lissanework Tekle, Mr. Feyisa Debisa, Mr. Abdella Kosa, andMr. Tatek Tadesse
The conference concluded with a summary of key takeaways and the issuance of certificates by Dr. Worku. This marked the end of a highly successful and enlightening event that left participants inspired, motivated, and networked to continue their research journeys.
